Presently we're operating in the out-islands of the Bahamas around  San Salvador, Rum Cay and Mayaguna.  These beautiful island gems  remain mostly unexplored to the cruising sailor or traveling surfer because they lie well off the beaten path in the more exposed ocean waters.   Since these islands are situated easterly more than all the other islands of the Bahamas, they are directly exposed to all north, east & south swell directions offering some of the best surf conditions you can find in this region. Since you'll need a well provisioned boat capable of navigating open ocean waters to get to a lot of the breaks, the waves breaking on the outer reefs surrounding these islands  remain virtually undiscovered to most traveling surfers - until now.

The main settlement on Rum Cay Island is Port Nelson, a small friendly town where you'll find Kay's Bar, which periodically hosts parties on weekends, and The Ocean View Restaurant.  Both are local hangouts before, during, and after sundown.  Nearly everybody lives in Port Nelson
